I have been running for the past fourteen years. In high school I ran cross country in the fall, competed in Nordic skiing in the winter, and ran track in the spring. The tiny high school I competed for lacked numbers but we made up for that with dedication and hard work, and I got to compete at state my senior year in all three sports!

Those early running and competing experiences were so wonderful that I knew I wanted to continue racing in college. I went to a division III college with a strong running history. Unfortunately I wasted my freshman and sophomore years, and spent too much time partying and not enough time committed to the team. I finally straightened out my priorities my junior year and ended up having a decent senior year.

After graduating I moved up to road races and half marathons, and while I have some okay races under my belt, I don't think I have really put my best effort into any of these. I have trained several groups through the Running Room and that has been a great experience. I love getting people into the sport, and my favorite thing is to see my past runners out on the river or lakes.

Besides running, I spend my time with my husband, Mr. B, and our dog Rodgy:

I also love sewing, cooking & baking, and hanging out with my friends.
So...that's it! If you need to know more, just ask...
